Ivy K is your friendly neighborhood mixed chick making music and connecting with great humans along the way. Ivy's love for connecting with people through music spans her whole life with Ivy actively writing poetry, stories, and songs consistently by age eight.
Ivy's love for music and storytelling was fostered growing up with artists such as Taylor Swift, Demi Lovato, Miley Cyrus, Paramore, Avril Lavigne, Christina Aguilera, Flyleaf, The Script, Shania Twain and The Chicks.
Her most recent single, “let me sleep” is about taking off the mask we present to the world and finding the courage to show up even at our weakest. It's a raw reflection of mental exhaustion and the quiet wish for peace when you're breaking down, written for anyone who's ever felt unseen in their struggle. This is Ivy’s most vulnerable release yet; hoping it can help someone feel less alone.
In April of 2024, she released her first single “Popular Loner” a nostalgic throwback to the artists that fostered her love for music. Inspired by the 2000’s classic “Princess Diaries,” Ivy wrote a song she felt Mia would write for Josh, if she pursued music instead of the Genovian throne, after their media frenzied kiss.
